Lithunia is predominately Catholic, but only so in name. That is to saythat many of the proclaimed Catholics get baptized or christened at a very young age, then refuse to return to the church. If they do, it is purely an act of religion and not relationship with a living God.

Don’t misunderstand, of the 77.4% off Lithuanians that claim Catholicism, there are some who passionately love and pursue the Lord. However, the country is full of atheistic or agnostic religious people.

It breaks my heart to think that many people here believe that through their religious acts they will be saved. That is the lie that captivates  the country.

But among this people of religion and spiritual zombies, there is a remnant–a faithful, biblical remnant.

There are approximately 200-250 churches in the entire nation, and about 5000 believers in total.

And in this count are some of the most passionate Kingdom bringers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

One particular light on a hill in this dark region is the Good News Center (http://www.gnc.lt/en/home.html).

My team has had the pleasure/honor/privilege of seeing this organisation’s vision, along with the hearts of the faithful workers who make this place happen. We have prayed both for and with our brothers and sisters here. We have spoken so much life over these people and their ministry and we believe that God has spoken to us.

He has repeatedly given us the words and visions of revival and awakening in all Lithuania. The epicenter of this spiritual movement? Vilnius.

The Good News Center, among many many other things (that I encourage you to look into), is the only Christian radio station in all of Lithuania.

Doing a radio interview for the only Christian radio station in Lithuania.

They’re broadcasting a message of hope, love, and, obviously, Good news, to an entire country. The music they play is laced with God’s love. The messages they broadcast testify to His greatness. In a country sick with depression, the gospel is fleeing through the airwaves! What a way for the Holy Spirit to move!

Do you guys see the potential?!

Are you as excited as I am?!

Revival is coming, and I believe it will come through the radios. I believe it will come from the music, messages, and numerous print materials being published by this remnant of God’s bride!

Because these people are passionate. They see God’s vision and they are willing to submit to achieve it. The folks God has here are incredible. His harvest is ready, and though the workers be few, they are exceptional.

Most of them work 10-12 hour days on the weak salary of 750 usd per month, just to see His Kingdom come in Lithuania as it is in heaven. (Correction: Since writing this originally, I have recieved more explicit imformation. The average Lithuanian salary is about 750-1200 dollars. The faithful men and women of God at the GNC are making less than 400 usd each month)

They work to publish multiple magazines in a few different languages, broadcast tv and radio media, translate Christian books, and record Christian music artists, all in an effort to further the Kingdom.

And since they’re country is so spiritually dead, they have almost no National support. The few finances they do have come primarily from international sources who see the value of The Good News Center’s vision.

One of my personal goals this month is to see this light strengthened.

I have prayed over this ministry and I believe strongly that the Lord’s hand of favor is on it.

I ask you to help the church–the global church. Revival Is coming. Awakening is happeneing. You have the opportunity to get involved in what God is doing in the nations. Choose to support The Good News Center. Choose to be a part of international revival. Choose to spread the Good News.
