So, I have asked you guys to partner with me in prayer, focusing on one of the countries I will be visiting for one month at a time before I leave. This way, we get to really lay the foundation for the Holy Spirit to really get his gig done when the Squad and I are all over there doing our thing.
Last month we focused on China. We spent the month praying for the country and its people.
This month we will be focusing on South Korea.
Now, as I am sure you are aware, there is quite a heated political climate in much of the Asian region in which I will be traveling. The majority of my 11 months will be spent in areas of high political tension, not least of which is South Korea. I believe this could potentially be one of the most dangerous places I will be visiting. I would greatly appreciate your prayers, and the prayers of those around you. Please pray over this yourself, but also consider printing this blog out and giving it to your small group or church and pray for me as a group and as part of the Body of Christ. You could also talk to your church leaders about having me visit some time and discuss what the lord is doing in my life. I would like that so dang much.
All that being said, I ask you to be in prayer for the nation of South Korea. Pray for her people. Ask for safety, both for the South Koreans and for my Squad. Ask the Father to protect his people as we go to them with the good news. Pray that their eyes are opened; Ask for hearts of stone to be melted, and the Holy Spirit to replace them with new hearts; Claim that bondage will be broken and captives will be freed in the name of Jesus; ask the Spirit to go ahead of us and till the spiritual soil, preparing it for the sowing that will be done by this squad and others to come; Ask the Spirit to not only prepare for the harvest, but ask him to continue to call workers unto himself. My squad is still rather small, and people are going to continue to sign up–ask that they be ordained by the Holy Spirit, and ready to go to battle in South Korea.
Please pray for my squad. Ask Elohim to do work in us now, before the trip, that will prepare us to spend 11 months together. Ask him to create a squad that will work well together, grow together, challenge one another, and love one another while following the steps of Jesus. Rebuke petty selfishness, grumpiness, anger, and fights from our squad. Speak life over us all and our relationships with one another. Pray for the Holy Spirit to raise up leaders for our squad even now.
Pray for the team on which I will be. Ask God to grow us with himself, but also with one another, even before we know our team. Claim that the Spirit will lead us and empower us to follow him in preparatory growth before the race. Pray that we will be learning how to deal with others, think of others as better than ourselves, sacrifice our self, and crucify our flesh so that we can be a team of people spiritually united with one another and with God's Holy Spirit. Send us out in power and authority in Jesus' name, and bless us with good proclamations and protection.
Praise and thank the father for his ordination of this squad and the relationships they build with one another and with South Koreans while on this month of our trip. Thank him in advance for the way he will show up. Expect him to be who he says he is and do what he says he does, and graciously thank him for that. There will be freedom found in South Korea.
There is no telling what sort of work we will be doing in South Korea, but ask The Spirit to go ahead of us now and begin it–in the lives, hearts of South Koreans, but also in their country, as well as in the lives and hearts of our squad, and in our own country.
Thank you for spending the month of April partnering in prayer with me for this beautiful land full of God's children. You will not regret it.
Also, continue to be in prayer for my funds. There are fewer than 8 months left and we still have $14,443.20 left before I am fully funded. Pray that God will use his Holy Spirit to lead his people to donate and remove this burden from my life. It is really a worrysome ordeal, raising funds. The sooner it happens, the better (in my opinion ;P ).
Thank you all so much, beautiful body of Christ.
