When I was a sophomore in High School, I was blessed enough to begin an internship with The HUB Urban Ministries (http://www.thehubministry.com/). It is an inner-city ministry working to show the love of Christ to the the homeless and impoverished in downtown Shreveport, LA. I spent two years working here and serving under the most wonderful woman of God (@Casshamm). She taught me so much about loving The Father and loving His people.

During my internship, I felt the Lord calling me into ministry. I had felt some sort of call to some sort of ministry for a long time, but during my senior year of High school, I really felt God calling me to a life of full time, missional surrender.

After that, I spent some time working as an assistant to a misionary in Honduras. I also spent two summers working with Camp Fuego (http://www.campfuego.com/), where I will be interning as an assistant Camp Director this summer (Summer 2013).

I now work at River Valley Church (http://www.rivervalleyteens.net/ or @RVCteens) as a youth intern of sorts, and I love it. I have the most amazing students!

I also am the road pastor for an awesome Christian rock band called Alive By Sunrise. These dudes are my brothers in Christ, and they are going to be so crazy big one day. They are going places for real. Check them out on iTunes, facebook, twitter or instagram for some awesome music and men of God.

I am passionate about loving people…most days…and I have a particular passion for the poor.

I believe I am going to be a full time missionary in the future, but what place and what way, I do not know. I am just holding on to Daddy's hand, and letting Him lead me, as best I can.
