I just wanted to say thank you for all of the prayers and support throughout the past several months. I am on my fourth continent and almost half way through the race. I have been able to share my testimony with many people and have gotten the honor to pray for many people as well. We have gotten to see physical healing as well as spiritual and emotional healing through prayer and relationship.

I am so blessed to have built relationships with the people that I have met in every country. I believe that The Lord is moving in great ways in every country and it could not have been without your prayers, support, and love.

I have an amazing team that I dearly love. We are all men and women of God that are growing stronger everyday and learning how to live a life as Jesus did. Right now The Lord is teaching us how to love like Him.

In many ways it has been difficult because our human nature has perverted what love actually is and how conditional we make it. However, love is a universal language that is shown without words, so why wouldn't The Lord teach us this lesson as we travel around the world trying to spread His love.

What I have learned is that loving the needy and the less fortunate is much easier than loving those that know the truth but ignore what is right. Through that revelation, The Lord is teaching me that He loves everyone the same. He has shown me that we are not to love the conditions but love despite the conditions.  When we understand that every person is a creation that He created for His glory we finally see beauty in even the ugliest people.

In each country I have seen the ugly and beauty through the people on the streets and people in the pews. I have found joy and heart break through seeing through these new eyes but I know that The Lord is using this to call us all to a higher calling of love.

Do we even know what it looks like to love as Jesus loved? I ask you to take a second and write out ten ways you think Jesus loved when He walked on the earth….(yes right this second don't hesitate just do!)

Now how many of those do you do on a daily basis????

Here are some that I came up with on the spot…

1. Alway thought of others first
2. Prayed for others
3. Gave other's food
4. Washed other's feet
5. Always spoke truth
6. Helped the least of these
7. Took time out for others even in a crowed
8. Always saw the good in people
9. Never held a grudge
10. Loved unconditionally

These are just a few ways that Jesus showed love in and I'm sure that you could come up with different ones as well. I know that I don't do all of these everyday but the more The Lord is teaching me on this subject the more He shows me I need to be doing them everyday.

One of my friends back in Salisbury (T miss you!) would always remind me that you have to die to yourself every second of everyday. This just keeps going through my head when I am frustrated or in a position that I don't really want to love at all.  The phrase "die to yourself" reminds me that this really isn't about me anymore.

It's not about me being happy all the time, treated with respect, felt loved, uplifted, or even heard. I have to realize that even in those conditions I still need to make the other person feel that way.

My love needs to be unconditional so if I am not happy I still need to make the other person happy.  If I am not respected I still need to respect the other person.  If I don't feel loved I still have to love the other person.  If I don't feel heard I still need to listen to the other person etc.

The Lord has brought me through this season I believe to teach me how to love in a pure form around the world and back home. This is not easy to walk through and see through these new eyes. However, I know this season is not easy and that The Lord doesn't take me through anything that He knows I can't handle. For-instance my fundraising!

I know that The Lord has called me to finish this race and I am not worried for a second that He will not provide however, it does take the hands of His people to support me. I am praying and asking that The Lord place it on your heart if He has called you to support me. If 25 people gave $100 or 100 people gave $25  I would be fully funded. Please ask The Lord what He is calling you to do.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7
6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
