So…I wasn't going to really start blogging until I left as I'm not the greatest at keeping up with it BUT….I then felt like I needed to start sharing all the AMAZINGNESS that God has been blessing me with already!!! 🙂

My first 2 blogs were just to take you back a bit to get you to where I am today. I'm SO excited about stepping into this new season; ready to see what God is going to do in and through me!  Already He has shown His faithfulness by blessing me with a HUGE support system! Every one of my friends and family are excited and seem ready to assist in any way possible! From the very beginning, when I first heard about the WR, He had people in place to encourage and assist me as I questioned whether or not this was what He wanted me to do… Then throughout the year as I was praying about when I needed to go, He had people there to pray and seek confirmation with me. And now, as I prepare to go, He is using AMAZING people that He's strategically placed in my life to encourage and help guide as I figure out all that needs to be done before we launch.

One of the first exciting blessings He's provided was in and through my friend Julie! She does photodesign and is an AMAZING photographer… (Quick plug, if you are in need of an AMAZING photographer for weddings, engagements, newborn pics, family pics, senior pics….essentially anything you could need a photographer for, you should check her out! She loves Jesus with her whole heart and it is evident in everything she does! She is beautiful inside and out and will leave you feeling so special and loved!! Her website is: julesphotodesign.com…seriously, check her out!). She took 12 hours of her own time to design an awesome prayer card packet with me! (Don't worry, I'll send you one!) THEN, when she took it to her printer, she told them what it was for and they said they wanted to do it for FREE!!! What?! Seriously! A week later she takes even more time to go with me to pick out a few packaging items and then wants to set up yet ANOTHER time to assemble and mail them out with me! I'm so blessed by who she is, not just because she's been willing to help but because of how genuine she is!

Want to hear about another blessing? Ok! Let me just tell you!… There are only about 3 people that I work with who know about the WR and they are all on the Sales team. One of these ladies is my great friend Rexanne! She has been apart of everything from the very beginning! She was there when I first brought it up to the small group I was in and after explaining what it was all about, I still remember her response…she point blank said, "So what's the question? What do we need to do and when do you leave?". 🙂 It's been amazing having her by my side this whole time. Anyway, one of the other Sales Managers was talking to her about how how she had this random backpacking pack from when she backpacked in Europe that she didn't know what she was going to do with (They seriously talk about anything and everything in that department – it's pretty great!). She had kept it for several years but had no idea why… Now one thing you need to know about Rex is that she has been keeping her ears and eyes open for anything and everything that I might need for the race – she's even asked for a list so she knows specifics! This said, as soon as Jess said she had this pack she got excited and suggested that I might be able to use it… SO…I've now been provided with a backpacking pack!! GAH! So amazing!!!!

Another one?? Well ok! So I had decided that one of the ways I was going to raise money was by selling bracelets! I had already designed a couple and shared them with my mother to see which one she liked best. We seemed to both like the same one so it was a go! As I looked around to figure out which company to go with I again sought her assistance. She looked around and found a great company that would do exactly what I wanted without having all the limitations every other company had. When I went to order she said she wanted to pay for them! Again…really?! SO awesome!!!

I almost can't keep up with the different ways God has chosen to show me that He loves me and is going to take care of everything…and we're only a month and a half into it! I'm SO beyond excited to continue the process of preparation!…a process that I thought was going to be the most challenging! I can't wait to share more of His awesomeness as we continue walking though this phase!!!

In closing, to all my friends and family…and to everyone just passing by, I encourage you, in everything that you do, 'Refuse to Remain' (Mark 16:15)!
