Over the last few months, there have been some pretty seismic shifts in the world. There’s also been quite a bit of movement within many of us. Faith is being lived out in indescribable ways as the Message is being proclaimed and lives are being radically changed forever.

Last Friday night, Johnny and I had the awesome opportunity to join a worship time in Echo Park near DTLA. The Lord was on the move and invited us along for the ride. We got to join a mission team that was sent to our city to love, serve and reach the lost. We went treasure hunting and on one occasion, felt led to talk to a man coming around the corner. As one of the kids approached and asked him if he could pray for him, the guy turned, said he was atheist and walked on. Instead of being discouraged this young man’s resolve was strengthened and he was empowered. He continued to pray, following God the Spirit’s guidance and leading his team through the park. There weren’t any radical healings; nothing crazy happened and no one got saved. To some, this might seem like a failure of a night, but to us, we were invigorated. We were inspired and we were freaking out excited.

Why? Because a group of high school students and a few adults decided to own their faith and walk it out. They decided to cast off the monster called fear of rejection and instead decided to be bold for Jesus. They started walking in the authority they have as kids of the King. As leaders, we were humbled. Afterwards we partied with California Donuts and played signs as we laughed the night away.

A few streets over from us, kids have to sleep on the floor on Friday nights because of gang initiations. Life isn’t safe and following Jesus has it’s sacrifices but oh my gosh, what rewards we are promised when we say Yes.

I wanna share what God is doing all over the world. I love getting updates on healings, movements of God, churches being planted and lives being changed for the Kingdom. Heaven is quite literally invading the earth and it makes my hands tingly just thinking about it! I’ve got a few stories in mind, but I need your help. Wanna join me in exposing the Gospel of Jesus Christ? It’s too good not to share. Please send names, places, people groups etc that are being changed because of Jesus. It’s time to turn the tide against the influx of bad news we read about all day long. Let’s counter it with all the amazing things God is doing and let’s celebrate. We’re not fighting for victory; it’s already been won. We live from a place of triumph so let’s live like it in the everyday.

PS Ellie had an absolute blast. She stayed up til 10pm and slept til 8am. Woo! Praise Hands.
