Hi! Wow, I can't believe this is really happening. A year and a half ago I was sitting in a cubicle wondering what in the world I was going to do with my life. God's so cool and His timing might surprise us but it never surprises Him.

I'm 25 years old and was born and bred in the South. I'm from East Tennessee and bleed Orange through and through. I love the outdoors and my dog and you'll be hard pressed not to find me near the lake in the summer, a football game in the fall, the mountains in the winter and my farm in the spring. I have fantastic parents and three hilarious siblings. The youngest is 10 and acts older than me. I have a dog named Topper (think Rocky Top…)  and about 30 cousins. We're a busy group but I wouldnt have it any other way.

I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was 5 and stayed on the straight and narrow until I was 18. Then I lived life on my terms and tried writing the story with my own pen. Not a good idea. God's blessings for us are never ending when He writes the story. Over the past few years one verse always comes to mind and that's Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
I've hit rock bottom before, fallen another level and then rebounded stronger and with more hope and peace than ever. Christ is my rock and the only reason I'm still around. His grace is truly sufficient for me and I cant imagine my life without Him at the center. I'm not perfect and never will be. I rest in knowing that Christ's love for me and ultimate sacrifice on Calvary cleansed my heart, body, soul and mind from the destruction and decay that I led myself into and that I am forgiven and loved by the Creator of the Universe!

5 things I love: food, reading, Topper, turkey day and sunsets

Can't wait to blog about the next year and witness God doin' His thing!

Talk soon!
