Heaven is For Real by Todd Burpo. I was having dinner with my roommates when the question was asked, "Well, what does Jesus look like?" [Yes, this is what we talk about around the dinner table.] So, I remembered reading this book from a couple months back, and I remembered that Colton (the kid who claims to have gone to heaven) said that he had seen Jesus. In a part of the book, his parents ask him about what Jesus looks like. They show him different pictures, and something is always wrong with the pictures… until one picture. Colton says something like, yeah, that's him. The thing that's interesting is that the painting was painted by a girl who had also claimed to have gone to heaven. Check out the video on CNN. It's super interesting. It will blow your mind, actually. It's so cool how God works through children. Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." I want to have faith like a child. I want these gifts of heaven to be given to me so I can share them with the world, unselfishly, as these precious children have done.
