Today I turn 26…
Yes 26 years ago my parents gave birth to me. 26 years of life. 26 years of laughter. 26 years of joy, sadness, ups and downs. 26 years of Love, 26 years protected by JESUS.
I’m alive, and that’s the first thing I am thankful for. This time a year ago I was in month 10 of my world race, in Eastern Europe, celebrating with my family there. I was finishing up the hardest year of my life, and to look back on the things I experienced, the things GOD spared me from, yes I am very thankful for life.
This past year hasn’t been a cake walk either. I led a trip through 3 African countries 8 weeks after the race, and then I went to Uganda. I have been jobless, I have loved, and lost, I have succumbed to weakness, I have doubted, my Faith has been shaken and yet through it all I hear the LORD whisper something so strong to my heart “I am teaching you how to be a Woman”! No longer a girl, but a woman with a motherly spirit, and maturity.
Being ushered into my later 20’s is extremely eye opening. I am beginning to see the spiritual aspect behind age and maturity. Things like endless flirting are beginning to turn me off, I value real communication more now. Submission used to be something I feared, and now my heart longs to be in the right position. It’s a new season.
I have this recurring vision, and prophecy from people. I am in a dress, twirling in a field, so free, with The Lord. He is the loving Father who adores me while I adore creation. See with this authentic womanhood the LORD has brought a beautiful thing, FREEDOM!
And so I take Flight. I begin to run towards GOD, forsaking all else, abandoning reason, and fear, I passionately pursue the ONE for WHOME I was Created. This flight involves GOD given tasks, assignments and ministries that allow me to fully operate as the Woman GOD called me to be. I am not a fragile little doll to be played with and put on a shelf when done, no I am a warrior princess, a help meet, a care giver and I follow after proverbs 31:20 which says
“She opens her hands to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy”.
I am loving, learning, blossoming, beautiful, anointed and appointed, called and chosen, connected, respected and protected by the KING!
I am FREE.
I am an Authentic Woman.
And I am a serious threat to the enemy’s kingdom because for the first time I have a full revelation on who I am and whose I am.
I belong to JESUS. HE is my first love, my one true LOVE, and in HIM is all satisfaction.
HE is my cake, everything else is just the icing 🙂
To all you lovely ladies reading this. No matter where you are in life, remember that GODs design and purpose is to make you come fully alive as a Woman of GOD. To bring HIM Glory the way He designed you to be. I come against any confusing spirits against your identity, value and sexuality! And know that a woman with her mind made up and feet firmly planted in the WORD is unstoppable for the Kingdom!

For those of you who have asked for an update on my life missions wise, currently in am at home enjoying friends and family. I got back from Uganda about a month ago, it was amazing. I’m working a job I hate, but hey I’m thankful for it. I am not 100% sure when then next time I hit the missions field will be, amazing doors have been opening up however, and lately Brazil, Thailand, Malaysia and India have been on my heart so please keep me in your prayers. My church in Akron, oh BBC has also been preparing for it’s first mission to Africa, so that’s super exciting! Lots going on 😉
