One thing I have been learning a lot about in the past 4 or so months is that all my life I have believed many lies about myself and about my faith. They sneak in so easily and seem so harmless at first. But before I knew it, I was believing things that just were not truth.
A weapon God has given us to combat lies is by standing on His truths. The things He says about us in His word. So people that I'm on this journey with have been writing declarations about their lives so they can daily be reminded of God's truths.
At first it seemed a little cheesy to me but after a while I began to see the power that it might be able to have in my life. To stop and declare every day The truth! So after about 6 weeks of sitting on the idea, I finally created my own declarations.
At the end of last month in Nicaragua I laid in a hammock and wrote down the things that I know to be true concerning my God, what He has to say about me, and the things that He wants to create in me.
So here it is and I hope that as you read it, these declarations begin to break chains of lies in your own life. God's truth shatters lies from the enemy and from the world!

Update: Our World Race route has been changed once again! We will no longer be headed to Bulgaria next month, instead we will be in Moldova! Moldova is a very poor country on the eastern border of Romania, just south of Ukraine. We are excited to see what our new ministry holds for us and for our team. Thank you all for your continued prayers as we complete month #4 on the World Race in a few short days.
