Dear Family & Friends,

We hope this letter finds you well as spring quickly approaches.  We wanted to write to let you know about some exciting things that are going on in our lives right now.  We have been enjoying the adventure of marriage for a year and half now.  Katrina is currently finishing her last semester studying Languages at Laurier and will be graduating in June. Paul is working at Delta Kitchener while working towards his chef apprenticeship.

Those who know us well, know that sometimes we don’t follow the path that society sets out.  Recently we have been talking about the future and trying to figure out what our next steps will be.  Ever since our mission trip to Guatemala we’ve hoped for a similar opportunity; and then we found out about The World Race.  In October 2011, we will leave for an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries through an organization known as Adventures in Missions.  Our team will serve by loving orphans, bringing hope to those in human-trafficking, praying for the sick, and working with local churches to be the hands and feet of God.  We will participate in an 8-day training camp before departure and have ongoing training in the field.  We look forward to the opportunity of living in community and experiencing tremendous spiritual growth.

We believe that God has bigger plans for us and we want to be taken out of our comfort zones to show love in a practical way.  We want to comfort those who are hurting and tell them that they are worthy, beautiful and loved.  This will build a strong foundation for our marriage and allow us to grow closer to God.

We are extremely excited to follow the passion in our hearts and know that where God guides, He provides.  That’s the reason we’re writing to you; we hope that you will be a part of our journey too – both prayerfully and financially.  We need to raise $30,000 to cover all the expenses.  If you are willing to partner with us on this journey, no contribution is too small.  We are looking for individuals or families to commit to donating to our ministry each month that we are gone.  If 50 people contribute only $50 per month our costs will be covered.  You can also make a one-time donation at any time.

We’ve decided to follow God’s path instead of our own and we trust that He will use us in ways we’ve never experienced, that we will be a blessing to those we meet and that we will learn more than we could have ever imagined.  May God bless you as you prayerfully consider partnering with us in this ministry.

Thank you,

Paul & Katrina Annunziello
