It’s hard to believe that our Race is drawing to a close. It seems like we just left the States for the Philippines yet we’ll be home in 7 weeks! We’ve seen so many amazing things and miraculous works this year; I can honestly say we won’t return as the same two people you saw last year. God has grown us and stretched in countless ways and we are so grateful for the blessing that this journey has been.
One of the largest and most humbling things the Lord did this year was raise all of the funds needed for us to participate on the World Race and play a part in the Great Commission. Thank you to all of those who give financially and pray for us consistently. We could have never done this without you. A family in the Philippines has a home, students in China have heard the name of Jesus, a child in Mozambique has a Bible, Gypsies in Romania have been fed and healed and children in Central America have experienced the awesome love of Jesus because you sent us! You will never fully know the role that YOU played in changing thousands of lives around the world this year. Thank you for hearing the Lord and saying yes.
As we prepare for reentry and our transition back to the States, we’re asking for your prayers and support again. This will not only be a spiritual and emotional transition, but a financial one. While we raised the $30,000 we needed to participate on the Race, it only covered our expenses while on the field. Our Adventures in Mission support account is fully funded; praise the Lord!
We are now asking for you to prayerfully consider giving to us personally through our home church in Charleston, West Virginia. Any money given to Southridge Church in our honor will go directly to us. This money will help us cover the $7,000 in expenses we incurred at home while we were on the field. While we are on the field we continue to pay our car insurance, life insurance, cell phone plans, school loan payments and various moving expenses.
