As we drive away from what has been our home for the last month, I remember all if the wonderful memories and friends that were made at Los Gozosos.

My family for the last — days consisted of my brothers and sisters on team spicy mustard as well as several of the most amazing women and children I have ever met in my life.  Los Gozosos is a wonderful orphanage for disabled children.

Maureen Casey, the founder us An amazing woman of faith with an incredible testimony of Gods hand in her life. She is so strong in her faith, her fight for the orphanage and for the children whom she loves so much.

The nannies at Los Gozosos have completely amazed me with how hard they work. They are constantly moving, running after the children, praying 3 times a day, cleaning, doing laundry, hugging & kissing the kids. They never seemed to tire. one of the best parts of our relationships with the nannies was that we were immediately welcomed to the family. I personally felt as if each woman working at Los Gozosos was my sister. Praying for eachother, singing together, laughing and worshipping the lord together daily, what a blessing to have had that time together!

One of the highlights of my time at Los Gozosos was my weekly trips to the market with the cook.. Señora Marcy. Although we could barely understand eachother forthe most part, I enjoyed just being in her presence. she ALWAYS had a smile on her face. I'm pretty sure she just got a kick out of my facial expressions and "Spanish sign language", but seriously, this woman exudes JOY.

The one thing that has blessed me more than anything this month has been the love that the children have for the LORD, and the love that they had for us. Each meal began with a warm greeting from out little Helen, and held expectations of new reasons to laugh. Each day was filled with big hugs, new songs, and lots of smiles and laughter.

As we drive away from what has been our home for the last month, my heart smiles thinking about the wonderful experiences Ive had in Guatemala, and races at the thought of the excitement of new adventures and encounters awaiting us in Honduras.
