So, here I am…sitting in my living room and I just got off the phone with one of my best friends (Elise). She’s currently doing ministry in Cambodia through Adventures in Missions (AIM) (http://elisepaty.myadventures.org/?filename=bio) and we were talking about all of the things we have been going through lately,struggles, excitements, and all of the amazing work that God is doing in our lives. Every time I talk to Elise, she reminds me of what it means to be a true follower of Christ.
At one point we began to talk about the countries that The World Race October squad (which I am part of) will be visiting, and I realized just how close October really is, and I remembered how excited I am that God has chosen me to be a part of his team! The fact that in just a few short months, I will have graduated college (the biggest challenge I have faced yet…) and will embark on one of the most exciting, and Christ filled adventures of my life! And the idea of having the support of all of my friends and family to do something this out of the ordinary, this outrageous…it just absolutely excites me. I am so thankful to all of you for all of your kind words of encouragement, your prayers, and your financial support; it means the world to me, thank you!
