This will be a short blog. I want to thank everyone for praying for me, my teams, and my squad this year! Your prayers have protected us, brought us through the fire, given us strength… and the list goes on. I have a few prayer requests that I need you guys to be lifting up for us as we transition from Romania to Ukraine to America.
In the past couple of weeks God has given three of my teammates, including me, dreams about human trafficking. In less than a week we will be in a country, Ukraine, that is so prevalent in human trafficking that one out of ten people know someone that has been trafficked. There are millions of girls being forced into prostitution every year. Some are flat out kidnapped and others are deceived into going to another country for an amazing job then they find themselves in a horrible situation where they are being forced to sleep with sometimes over 40 guys per day.
My team believes that God is trying to tell us something right now. We are not sure if He is warning us to be extra careful or if He is just reminding us to pray for the girls that are in slavery right now. I need you guys to pray for us and pray for the girls in this horrible situation. Pray that God will protect every single person on R squad as we transition into Ukraine. Also pray that if there is human trafficking taking place right before our eyes that we will have the eyes to see this taking place and we will be able to do something about it if that is Gods will. I am not really sure what this may even look like but we are going to get the hotline to report human trafficking just in case we do run across something. Pray that God will send more people into training to get these girls out of the brothels they are trapped in. From what I hear, it takes very skilled people, such as Navy Seals, to actually go into the brothels to rescue the girls. Also pray that if God is wanting us involved with anything to do with human trafficking in Ukraine, He would lead us to the right places and that we will be obedient to His voice and He will walk us through exactly what we need to do at that moment.
A few more prayers: I am going back to Memphis, TN when I get back home. I will be living with my parents for a little while and going back to school. Pray that my family draws close to one another and loves each other. Pray that we can all worship God together. Pray that my dad comes to God and gives his life to God. Pray that God will open up the right classes that I need to get into when I get registered at the University of Memphis. Pray that God will open up the doors for a job when I get home. I am not worried because I do believe that I can get a job at Home Depot when I get back home but I also know the economy is still bad and that may not happen. Pray that God places me where He wants me to be for the next season in my life. Also pray that as I share my testimony of the world race with others back home, the spirit will be speaking through me and touching these peoples lives.
