This month has been a very exciting month for me. God has been teaching me about what it means to get in the spirit. Holy Spirit has been filling me up with His presence just about every day since I have been in Thailand. I have to intentionally try to get in the spirit but it works almost every time. When I am filled with the spirit my adrenaline is rushing and I am filled with joy. When we go out to the bars on Bangla Street I am fully equipped with Holy Spirit when I enter that area. It is so important to carry the presence of God to the streets. If I am not in the spirit, it would be easy to focus on other things that do not glorify God.
I have been thriving this month with bar ministry. I really believe I might have found my calling this month. I love going out to these bars to share the good news of Jesus Christ. I have been talking to prostitutes, bar owners, tourists, pimps, advertisers, and shop owners. I have had an amazing time sharing my faith with others and telling them my life story. I want to thank a couple people for the great conversations we had. Brian- you are an amazing guy and I believe that you are going to come to Christ and share in his kingdom. Keep an open mind about God and seek him with all that you have and you will find him. Martin- I am praying that you will truly get to know who God is and I am going to believe he will answer that prayer. I am so glad that I was able to be a part of your birthday. You share the same birthday with my brother so it was good talking to someone else that had the same birthday as him. New- You are an amazing girl and I am praying that you go back to spend time with you son. He needs you so bad and I am praying that God will provide other ways for you to make money so you can support him. Don’t forget to tell him you love him! It will make his day to hear you tell him that. Sunita and George- I have enjoyed praying with you every day. I am going to continue to pray for your business and for the two of you to really know who God is. The reason your business is doing well is because we pray for it to do well. Always remember that Jesus Christ is the only God that we should be serving and I trust that God is going to reveal himself to both of you.
There are so many more great people that I have met. I want all of you to know that I do not judge you for what you are doing because I struggle with all kind of stuff myself. I will never be a perfect person and neither will you. Thank you for letting me hang out with you guys! I love all of you! God bless!
