Wow, time is flying by!!
It is hard to believe that we will be boarding a plane to embark on this
crazy exciting journey in 4 months. Fund
Raising is coming along. We had our car
wash this last weekend and it was a HUGE success! (more to come on that later) Now we are shifting out thoughts and time in
preparation for the weekend of Sept 17th-19th! We will have a Garage sale on that Friday and
Saturday, and our cultural dinner/benefit concert/silent auction on Sunday.
September 17th from 8-4pm, & Saturday September 18th

thank you so much. But don’t worry, we
still have more room and would love more of your things. So clean out that closet or garage for us and
let us know so we can come by and pick up your goods. Or, you can bring them by Raintree the week
of the garage sale starting Tuesday Sept. 14th through Thursday
Sept. 16th from 4-8pm each day.
Now let’s talk dinner:
The Cultural Dinner/Benefit Concert/Silent Auction will be on Sunday
September 19th from 6-9pm (come and go) at
the Christ in Action Building @ 2406 Broadway, tickets $5 at the
door.
This will be a buffet style dinner featuring foods from
around the world. We will also have
three talented local musicians, Grady Spencer, Ryan Bonner, and Aaron Collier,
playing for our entertainment. There
will be several silent auction items there as well if you would be interested
in bidding. We are trying to get the
word out and sell as many tickets as we can beforehand. We have asked several of our friends and
family to help sell tickets. If you
would like a ticket or think you can help us sell tickets before the dinner
then we would greatly appreciate it! It’s
going to be AMAZING, dinner and entertainment for 5 bucks!! Also, if you help us sell tickets you and
your family will get to go for free!! Let
