When one is on this insane, ridiculous, and amazing trip of a lifetime called The World Race, you are put in many good and difficult situations. Situations that you can only grow and learn from. Situations that you might not want to be in, or ones you’ve always dreamed of doing but never had an opportunity until while on the trip. Situations that strengthen our Boldness for bringing God’s Kingdom…on Earth?!
I’ve been keeping a simple list of realizations and understandings while on the Race. So much growth has come from this trip, and I will continue on in the days following my arrival in the States. Everyone grows to some degree in their Christian Walk, but it’s the persons desire and push for that growth when they can Really see and experience God more. These things I’ve learned I will carry for the rest of my life. I’m excited to pour into the people I meet and friends of the things I have come to understand of who God is and what He thinks of Us. I have this crazy desire to go out and work with college students, or anyone really, who are struggling with their “crap” and “minister” to them from my experiences.
We Are POWERFUL in His Name
Bring things in our own personal darkness to light…These things hold Power over us if we keep them in to ourselves
I HAVE A VOICE
I Have His Inheritance…Don’t throw it away
Go out and DO What CHRIST wants us to do…Love
JESUS is Our Example of Living
Speak Life into others and declarations over oneself….EVERYDAY
Be Open to the Spirit
Don’t care what people think to hinder what God wants You to do
Prayer is ALWAYS Good
God’s love has No stings attached
His Love Casts out Fear
I don’t do things to please this world. Only God and whatever it is doesn’t have to be Exactly perfect. It can look and be in many different ways or forms.
Be BOLD and Only Fear God
God Knows us by NAME, and Everything About US
Don’t try to fool God. Love Him out of Love and Not obligation
Intimacy with Him…is the key
Always be praying in the Spirit for a way to Bless and Share God with others. This can be done in simple conversations. There doesn’t have to be some Big thing made out of it. It’s Big for God
Forgive….Do It
Love, Love, Love
Get to the root of frustrations. Expose them to the light and in the open.
I have Power and Authority over all Evil Spirits Through Christ. They obey me since I’m an Heir to His Kingdom.
I am His Beloved
Discern where your Thoughts may come From. From God of where?
Stop making Excuses
And there’s still SO much more that can be added.
Some of you may already have acknowledged Many of the things I have mentioned. However, are you Living In It like You Believe in HIM? It is tough if you try and “work” toward it, but it is Possible when you just allow God In.
