Well…God Did it through us. We were just the vessels. The Church Was Started! We set out to start a church in a middle of nowhere village in India, which was/is dominated by Hinduism. The Hindu Temple Just happened to be right next to our living quarters.
Near the Final days of us out in the village, we were able to have land donated to us, clear out all the brush and thorns, cut down trees, dig giant holes for the foundation pillars, build the wall, and get a door on it. It’s a Miracle…Seriously!!
Every month is unique, but this ministry that I was able to be apart of will Always be in the front of my mind. It wasn’t easy and it will still continue to be a struggle of building the church and it’s people in this particular village. However, God Worked through us. No, we didn’t really have any “big” healings, but God will still seek those people just like you and I.
I’d like to share about a woman we found in the village who was a “closet christian”. She left her husband about 3 years ago. Just got up and left when he went to work one day, because he wouldn’t allow her to go to church. She came to this one village with basically the clothes on her back. God provided through her church she was attending and has life glorifying God. She’s Just one of those amazing Christians we have met, and other’s stories/testimonies are developing this very minute.
As for the long-term of this specific church, the pastor lives and is in charge of another church about 3 miles. The first-step church shelter is very important, because the people in India are “temple” oriented. SO, once a solid church structure is present, the non-believers usually take it more seriously and even more interested.
Last but not least, we have raised most but not all needed for this temporary shelter’s materials. The total is $2,000 and the funds go straight toward finishing this project. Please pray and consider being apart of this ministry of I.C.M. and our “project”. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Click Here for the I.C.M. website and the donation link is onthe right side of their main page.
With all that being said, I’m now in another remote location in Nepal. Stay tuned for more later. Thanks!!
p.s. I really wih I could show pictures, but due slow internet it’s not really possible. I will try later.
