So I thought it would be a neat idea to show all of you the songs that we have been singing while here in Eldoret, Kenya.  We do most of our ministry with house to house evangelism.  Sometimes we encounter houses where we are asked to sing a few songs.  In the afternoon we meet certain people who are church members of Releasing Destiny Ministries here, and we also sing a few of these songs there.

The songs are very simple and repeat a lot.  Sometimes we will sing one of those songs for like 5-10 minutes.  Yea, it’s crazy, but the people’s Love for the Lord is amazing and these songs are just the simplest way they express their Love.

Since no one on my team can technically play a guitar we use the songs they have here and have learned them quite well.

Tembea Tembea Yesu

Tembea Tukuone

(Tim-be-a Two-ku-o-ne)

Ee baba ee baba ee baba pokea sifa (poking a Stefan)

(A Ba Ba…Pok-e-a-see-fa)

Hakuna Mungu kama wewe (X3)

Hakuna na hata kuwepo

Nimetembea kote kote

Nimezunguga kote kote (ni-me-zun-guu-ka)

Nimetafunta kote kote (ni-me-ta-fuu-ta)

Hakuna na hata kuwepo

Bendera yake Yesu sasa inepepea (salsa in a papaya)

When Jesus Says Yes, Nobody can say No

Hallelujah, day by day

There is something today in the house of the Lord

There is “Dancing “Praising “Singing “Healing

Kuna kitu leo nyumbani mwaBaba Hallelujah Amen nyumbani
mwaBaba

You are so faithful, so faithful, so faithful (X3)

That’s why I praise you in the morning, that’s why I praise
you in the noon time, that’s why I praise you in the evening, that’s why I
praise you all the time

Ni wewe ni wewe Bwana, ni wewe ni wewe Bwana

(Nee Way-way)

I wanted to add another note from my previous two blogs.  We were finally able to go see the lady who we had been praying for her eyesight about 2 weeks ago.  She told us that she could see parts of light, shadows, and light/dark distinction of clothes, and outline of people.  She had been able to walk with a cane around in her yard the previous day.  This news just blew our minds!  Of Course we continued to pray for her, and she said the neighbors who saw her were astonished to see her walking about in her yard! Just Glory To God!!

Her name’s Elizabeth
