Here is an update on what April 2015 included:
- This blog post and summary cannot do justice to what her life meant and the impact she had. Emma Leigh Block passed away 31 days after she was born.
Addisyn Block took her into her arms at 10 days old and became her Mom. Our friend was God’s love to Emma Leigh. She had a brain condition that left her with only 10% of her brain formed.
For 21 days we all were able to hold her, pray for her, laugh with her, and see her small little life bring a huge impact to this world. Through out the world, thousands came to know this little angel. Her passing was hard, and still today I think about her often. She was adopted into our hearts, and will never leave us. Here is a video of her life, and a blog written, that many have been able to come to know and love Emma Leigh through.
Thank you, Addisyn, and the entire Block family – for doing what you do. For leading the way in showing all of us what sacrificial and true deep love is. For more information on them: Village of Hope Guatemala.

- Easter Celebration. Our 3rd Annual Easter Celebration was a great time. The golden egg was found, we ate as kings and queens at the banqueting table, laughed, cried, and shared life together. All in honor of Jesus, and his gift of life to all of us now and for ever.
- CGA Graduation. 3 Students were our 1st inaugural graduating class of C.G.A. (Center for Global Action). A 3-month semester of part-time classroom study on orphan-care and part-time field apprenticeship. Blake, Megan, and Melanie finished the Spring semester with excellence. This discipleship and mobilization program, led by Marielle Moguel, is bursting with potential.

- April also included:
- The hiring of two new staff, a Social Media Coordinator, and Donor Relations Coordinator.
- Visits to local pastors to encourage them in their faith and ministries.
- A Night of Worship – joining American missionaries and Guatemalan Christians.
- A trip to Xocomil Water Park for a staff outing and graduation celebration.
