I’ve had to learn fulfillment.

Because of sin nature, being born into it, and daily living with and being surrounded by it – I’ve had to grow up in learning and choosing fulfillment. And that is Him.

I’ve had to learn how to be fulfilled by Him, God.

When I’m not happy in life, wondering, “Why?” Crying that out at times.

When a hard circumstance happens, when I’m disappointed with something, I wonder, “Why?”

Why does my fulfillment take a hit?

When it’s improperly placed, where my hope and fulfillment lay, then I’m off.

Being off – even though I’m a Christian.

So even in my Christian living – I still have to learn how to be fulfilled. It didn’t happen over night.

It’s a learned skill/behavior/state of being.

I’ve had to learn how to stay fulfilled in Him, God. How to cultivate it. How to recognize when something else is vying for its attention.

I do believe we were created at birth with the natural and innate knowing and being of proper fulfillment, but sin entered, and contaminated it.

So as I physically grow in age and stature – the inner man and maturity must also grow.

So my message to you, is this:

To be at ease. It’s okay if you don’t have it all perfect. But we can learn it.

Through God – His beautiful written word, the gentle and powerful guidance of the Holy Spirit – we can live a fulfilled life.

So have hope today. The God of all wonderful things – is here to fulfill you, in every way.

Our souls and hearts were created to cry out for Him. And He is here ready to fulfill.

We journey in learning it – from our Father in Heaven!

“As the deer pants for flowing streams, so my soul pants for you, O God.”
