Personified
That’s the best way I can describe Andrew Shearman’s speaking
style.
Whether talking with 6 people (like this semester) or
preaching to hundreds –
spills out of each word.

He acts things out. Falls
to his knees. Yells. Dances.
Makes
a fool
of himself.
And you know what?
Like a spectator at
a sporting event–
the excitement without putting in any of the work.
teaching it’s almost impossible not
to catch some
of the LIFE coming off of him.
It hit me this last week though.
a chair and think,
pretty excited about this stuff. That’s pretty cool……”
And then walk away borrowing some of his excitement
and passion.
I want to embody it!
natural outflow of my life.
Most of us know we don’t want to be Michal (King Saul’s
Daughter) that mocked King David for dancing passionately before God.
don’t want to be the guy in the back of the procession spending more time admiring
David’s passion then participating in the worship myself!
Every staff member and teacher here gives away
enough life for me to live off of
and feel pretty good.
fun time in Spain.
I’m learning here to truly become WHO I AM.
