At G42 Leadership Academy we get to learn from men from a lot
of
different backgrounds.

This week we
got to learn from a
Businessman/Entrepreneur from Britain that has

Started and runs numerous businesses that he uses to benefit his hometown area, has met the Prime

Minister of England and funnels
the cash
he makes back
into
his
charity.

He passionately lovesJesus and helps train up the younger generation in using a passion for Business

For the Kingdom of God.

I would love
to introduce you to
Steve
Holmes
.

We had a very
interesting assignment this week.

A plot of land
was given to us for
free.

On this land there were only a few old buildings.

But it has a Lake,
River, Mountains and is only two miles from the Beach.

A wealthy Christian Philanthropist had given us the land and 40,000 dollars.

We
can do anything we want with it but we must have:

         *
A
clear vision for its use, Target Audience and a unique selling point.

*
A
basic breakdown of the financials: Money Needed to Start, Our
Revenue Stream, 1st
year of profit, etc….

We had 2 days
to develop this plan and then make a 5 minute pitch

to a panel
consisting of a
Bank Representative, Christian Philanthropist and a local City Councilman
.

We had to
clearly explain what we planned on doing
and then convince them to give us

Money in the form of a Grant, Charity or Loan.

I
gave the pitch for my team and it was quite the learning experience.

If you’re
interested we pitched a
Premier Challenge Adventure destination.

Think of Tough Mudder (or Warrior Dash) except Bigger, in a fixed location
and focused on

Deeper transformation and Character development run by Christians.

Then combine that with every extreme sport you can think of.

Market it to Weekend
Warriors, Corporations, Churches
and the Average person
looking for
more.

Build it up
as the
Premier Challenge Adventure place in the nation and have a wide variety of flexible programs, packages and lodging options.

That’s the basics anyway.

I want to know something a little different from you:

How do you see Business being used for the Kingdom of
God? (or if you want tell me what you would do with the land!)
