We had the blessing of being in Cambodia during their
Khmer New Year. (Cambodian New Year)
One of the traditions of Khmer New Year is a
WATER FIGHT that plays out throughout the city.
No one is safe!
Whether walking along the street or riding on a motorcycle.
There will be someone looking to dump water and possibly baby powder all over you
It was actually such a blessing to bond with the kids during this time
And to see Cambodians having so much fun!
Enjoy the Pics!
This is my little buddy getting ready for his attack during our water fight with the kids
Getting one of the girls back who had been dumping water on me all day.
Wide shot of the water fight with the kids.
These kids dumped water on us for about 30 minutes.
Team Pic after the water fight.
Take a close look at the people on the right and left side of the street.
Because if you are a passing motorist (Most people drive motor bikes here) you will be demolished by water and baby powder.
Getting in on the WATER ATTACK action.
Great shot of the WATER ATTACK.
Sometimes even trucks would drive by with people on the back ready to attack back.
You can’t see it very well but there are 3 white girls driving by in what they call a Tuk Tuk getting demolished in this picture. White folk make great targets!
A great shot of one of the kids, Sarach getting some girls with baby powder while they are being splashed with water.
The result of being doused with baby powder.
Hope you enjoyed the pics!
We leave the orphanage tomorrow to start making our way to Thailand.
Be praying for encouraging goodbyes and a good transition.
The next blog will be a video of our time here!
