Countdown is way past on. We step foot on American soil in THIS week!
We are landing in
….
*drumrolllllll*
…
Los Angeles!
The thought of coming home after the World Race is mind blowing, so we are taking time to ease back into life, and slowly say goodbye to the people we now hold so dear to our hearts and we will be back home on December 14th!
There are a few ways you can be praying for us, and help us figure out life in America again:
We haven’t worked in a year, and we are still looking at a definite two months of living without income, so if you want to bless us financially, our hearts are open! Throughout the race expenses accrued that we didn’t imagine, my winter coat was stolen, my laptop charger broke, one of our phones was ruined by water, our renters moved out of our house, and we had medical bills on our Malaria scare!
We want to SEE you! We will be home for a little while in December and January before we begin working, and start the new season of life, so get in touch with us! We would love to come talk to your church family, your bible study, or just sit over coffee and share some of how we have seen Jesus move. Talking about things we have seen will not only help us process and appreciate what has happened over the past year, but it will allow you to be a part of our story even more!
Before we left for the World Race, we sold Wayne’s car so we could have the extra money for traveling – and we didn’t know what our plans were for after the race. Now we have plans, and we are in need of a vehicle. If you can help us in any way on that front, we would be so appreciative!
Pre-meditate your questions, and think about what you REALLY want to know most, so we can hear your heart and share what you want to know about!
We had to buy two plane tickets home, which ended up costing roughly $300 dollars! If it is on your heart to help with that cost, pray over it!
Tell us about YOUR lives! We aren’t the only ones that have lived the past year, and we want to hear about what happened in your life while we have been away. We are so excited about the work God is doing at home, as well as the little day-to-day things that have happened!
Thank you for your endless prayers and support for us on this journey, we can’t believe it’s over so soon!
