Yesterday was spent mostly recovering from jet-lag. I was pretty much comatose in spite of sleeping till past noon. Danna (my co-leader) and the girls went out to do some grocery shopping while I took another nap. Boy, between training camp, anxiety while traveling, and the jet-lag, I was exhausted.
Today we took the bus from Wexford to Enniscorthy where we will be doing most of our ministry. We are working with Christ Alive Church to help put on a summer Christian camp for around three hundred children. God has really blessed this small church with a huge turn-out for their summer camps. We received a first-class walking tour of the town from our contact Elaine. She works for the church. Here are just a few things that stuck out to me.
