Easter morning, many of us rose early in order to watch the incredible sunrise over the Indian Ocean. We spent some time in prayer thanking the Lord for getting us here safely, praying that this time of debrief would be beneficial and help bring closure, and of course, thanking the Lord for sending his Son who rose on this glorious day. It was so refreshing.
Driver led a service on baptism and living out our faith, which went along great with the fact that a few of our team had asked to be baptized here. So, as the sun was setting and the tide coming in, Driver and I helped baptize Kasandra, Amanda K, Paige, and Dean. What an honor it was to be a part of that! It was a beautiful Easter Sunday. We completed the evening with fresh, ocean lobster for dinner.
