We have arrived in Tallin, Estonia close enough to the Baltic Sea where we can see it from where we are living. This month we are moving a missionary family from the States into there new home. They have been here in Estonia for a month where they were living and working at a Grace home for pregnant women. The Grace home burnt down about a week ago and then we arrived. We are now moving them into there new home and demolishing and cleaning up the burnt down home where a new Grace home will be built for the Glory of God. We will be doing this and ministering to this family as they minister to us.
Today my team leader gave me the day off so I can spend time with God and get myself back into a better place, and it has been very good. I was listening to some worship music and had forgotten I bought the new Chris Tomlin CD on Itunes, so I began to listen to it and in the midst of a long desert season. "Awake My Soul" comes rushing through my ear buds and a rush of the Holy Spirit comes over me as I get down on my knees weeping because of the truth of what Is being sung. It was like God was singing this song over me. Awake my Soul and resurrect these bones. I have been in a season of needing an awakening and the beginning of it is here!!!! God sings over us! He sings over His children and when He does, these bones become flesh and life begins. In context this song is talking about Israel, but it’s also talking about our Salvation, our “Lazarus moment” Bringing spiritually dead people ALIVE. Before this desert I was spiritually alive, but the way I was walking with God was not reflecting it. I love the fact that when I’m not walking in tune with the Father, that He will redirect me, He will teach me through it, but I’m His and He has bought me with His blood and He will do everything to bring me back on the right path. I love sanctification because until the day I go and spend eternity with Him, He will continue to make me more and more like Himself.

This is what Jesus does! He gives life! He makes spiritually dead people come alive! His word speaks into our lives and awakes our souls to position us back under the headship of Christ. It is here and only here that we can get what we need in this life. Nothing in this life will satisfy us other than Jesus!
