Training camp was a crazy experience!  It was stretching and humbling to see God move this week in our lives.  My life was changed this week in incredible ways that have given me more of a desire for the World Race, but more importantly for our Creator.

At Training Camp each day consisted of a different cultural meal, which was a stretch for most, but though some were a stretch, some were very tasty as well.  Training camp was to be used to stretch us, and give us a feel of what life could be like on the Race.  Most importantly it was a time where God filled us like never before spiritually to prepare our hearts.  I have a completely new perspective and desire with my Savior.  Jesus talks of a Wedding Feast that we are invited to, and there are different people at this feast that He mentions.  There are the spectators, the servants or bridal party, and then there is the Bride of Christ.  For many years of my Christian life I was a spectator, which was fine because He was showing me more and more about Him that I needed to know.  Then there are the servants who served the meal, which for the past 4 years, this has been me, which again is a great thing, but something wasn't all there.  The next aspect of the story is where my heart was opened this week as the message unfolded during one of our sessions.  What God opened my eyes to during this powerful message was that I have been everything but in the center of it all, the most important Character other than Christ, and that's the Bride.  Looking into Jesus' eyes and allowing him to be my all.  To really seek His face with all that I am and allow Him to take me to another level in REALLY KNOWING HIM in a way that a spectator and a servant can't have.

Training camp was truly an experience that has prepared our hearts for this trip, and I can't wait to live this out for the next month until we actually depart.
