I’m pretty much falling asleep on my computer outside of our place of lodging for the evening, but I thought I’d try to post something regardless.

Seriously I am tired, but we’ve got a 12 hour bus ride to Nicaragua tomorrow to catch up some on some sleep. This hotel is really a blessing, probably one of the nicer places we’ve stayed and most expensive, $12. Its funny how $12 can so quickly become an expensive place to stay. Earlier we had thought about staying at some other place that a fellow traveler told us about, but it was like 5 blocks from the bus station and in the Red Light District and was like $7, and since we heard there were gunshots earlier in that area, I’m really glad to be sitting outside, online in the nice part of San Salvador with a guy with a gun on guard.

I think I’m starting to prefer sleeping on the ground wherever to sleeping in like a hotel room. I just dozed off for a bit while laying down on cold concrete and using my shoe for a pillow with my computer on my stomach. (maybe I should get some sleep tonight)

But I’ve been feeling better the last few days, most of the allergy problems I was having seem to have gone away after being anointed with oil and prayed over a few nights ago by my friends Shawna and Amanda.

I really liked what I saw of Guatemala, and was kind of sad to leave it, but I’m also really excited about getting to Nicaragua and spending the entire month in the same area with half our team doing ministry and telling the stories of my other team, Nessa.
