Never have we ever…
-
Lived in a tent for a month….during the rainy season
-
Planted a church
-
Seen so many people accept Christ
-
Been to villages where missionaries have never gone before
-
Been to villages that we had to get to by foot because cars couldn't make it through the roads.
-
Preached to an equal number of goats as people during church
-
Known there were parasites in a body of water and still went swimming
-
Given people Bibles for the first time
-
Conducted an impromptu kids program on the side of the road
-
Seen such a level of poverty
-
Been in a country where if rain doesn't come to help the corn grow thousands of people will starve
-
Spent time in a mud hut (including eating and taking a nap)
-
Felt like Jesus in that we walked the streets and crowds gathered to hear us tell the gospel.
-
Talked to the chief of a village about accepting Christ
-
Had a chief declare his village a Christian village for the first time
-
Hand pumped water from a well
-
Had a dance party with African women (and felt so rythmically challenged)
-
Seen tobacco hand harvested and dried
-
Personally seen African babies with swollen stomachs
-
Carried sound equipment over our heads through a corn field to get to a remote village (we ran the sound equipment on the battery from our car)
