7:30am: Alarm goes off
7:55am: Finish packing our bags and cleaning our room
8:00am: Pulled out of the Plantation for the last time.
8:20am: Arrived at the Gua Masang, Malaysia bus station.
9:00am: Loaded onto the bus headed for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
2:10pm: Arrived in Kuala Lumpur after a 6 hour ride with no bathroom break…yikes!
2:11pm: Sprint to the bathroom.
2:25pm: Load into taxis headed for our hostel.
2:35pm: Arrive at our hostel for the night to meet up with the rest of the squad.
2:40pm: Find out that we are flying Malasian Airways.
2:41pm: Find out that our packs must weigh 44 pounds or less and our carry-ons can only weigh 15 pounds.
2:42pm: Realize that the entire race we have had 50 pounds in our big packs and probably 30 pounds in our carry-on.
2:43pm: Mass frenzy as 60+people begin to tear through their packs dumping anything that is not essential (which in and of itself is a funny thought…our whole life for a year is packed into a tiny backpack and we are trying to get rid of things that are not essential…we are already down to the basics).
4:30pm: Went and grabbed supper.
11:45pm: Finally feel comfortable that our bags are going to make the cut and go to sleep.

3:30am: Alarm clock goes off
3:31am: Start packing to leave.
4:10am: Leave the hostel on the way to the airport.
4:25am: Arrive at the bus station.
5:00am: First bus leaves for the airport (We are not on this bus).
5:30am: Second bus leaves for the airport (We are on this bus).
6:30am: Arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
6:45am: Get to the Airline check-in counter and begin to get our bags ready for the flight.
6:50am: Realize we are at the wrong counter.
7:00am: Arrive at the correct check-in counter.
7:10am: Pray fervently that our packs will make weight.
7:11am: Somewhat dissappointed that the lady at the counter didn't even weigh our bags.
7:15am: Arrive at customs
7:18am: Cleared Malaysian customs
7:25am: Arrived at security checkpoint.
7:30am: Cleared security.
8:20am: Gathered with the group at the gate after grabbing breakfast.
8:40am: Went back through security at the boarding gate.
8:50am: Boarded the airplane headed to Cambodia
9:10am: Airplane pushed back from the gate.
TIME CHANGE (1 Hour Back)
10:15am: Arrive at Phenom Penh International Airport.
10:20am: Arrive at customs and purchase visa
10:40am: Cleared customs
11:00am: Bus picked us up from the airport
11:20am: Arrived at our hotel for debrief in Cambodia.
