Hello everybody!
I just wanted to give everybody a quick update. Hannah and I finish up our ministry in the DR this afternoon with one more trip into the villages to visit door to door. Upon our return, we will officially be done with our first month on the World Race. Looking back, we are pleased with the work that we have been blessed to accomplish. A part of the farm has been transformed from a rough patch of ground into piece of land that is planted with sweet potatoes and plantains. Additiionally, we have prepared the hole for our contact to begin building a septic tank on the property. We are leaving with the knowledge that long after we are gone, the work that we have done will continue to bless the people of San Juan.
On the other hand, we have mixed emotions about leaving. The wonderful people from the mountain villages weigh on our hearts. We will miss them and pray that they continue to grow in the Lord. We pray that the seeds we have planted in their hearts bloom into a deep love of Jesus.
On Monday, we will leave at 5:00 am headed to Haiti. We will be staying at Mission of Hope International. When we arrive, I will know more about the specifics of our ministry. We love you all and thank you for your support.
-Timothy and Hannah.
