We just moved from India to Nepal where we are working in some villages sharing the Gospel.
The area that we are in is only about 1.4% Christian.
Sunday was our first day of ministry in this area. We were walking along the streets and saw a Hindu priest praying over a child and we stopped to see what was going on… we watched as the parents paid the priest for his prayer and sent on his way. We were then invited into the family's home and got to talk to to the husband of the household for about an hour.
After talking to us for a while, he asked what the differences between Hinduism and Christianity were and we got to share the gospel. He then asked us how we became Christians and one of the girls on my team shared her testimony.
The man and his wife said that they would like to go to church with us next weekend.
We were able to pray for the family and the sick child before going on our way, but unlike the priest before us, we pray for free.
Nepal is the sixth country of this 11 month journey and I am now only about $2,000 short of my final deadline of $15,500 total that I need by March 1, 2013 (which is coming up fast!). Please consider partnering with me by Making A Financial Contribution.
