It was impossible to not think about it. Then when you finally chose to focus on it, it went something like this. God has it under control. $15,500! God has cattle on a thousand hills. He will provide because He told me to do this. Oh God… $15,500! How am I going to raise that kind of money? What if my people can't give that much? What if? What if? What if? $15,500! $15,500! No! I trust God. I do. I trust God! Maybe if I say it again, I'll believe it more. I trust God!
But I didn't. I thought I would be that girl who paid for half if her trip herself. I also that I would be that girl who barely scraped by the deadlines. Much to my surprise and delight, God went above and beyond what I even dared to dream of.
I've never even had to consider a deadline. I never had to worry that God wouldn't come through. I used to worry that people… People…. People. I hadn't put the responsibility on God. But it is his responsibility.. God has a cattle on a thousand hills and he has proven it time and time again.
