How do you describe training camp?
I could say it is awesome, radical, fun and adventurous.
All of these things would be true
but incredibly lacking.
The more accurate descriptors would be convicting, radical reformation, eye-opening, changing, and miraculous.
Training camp is a time of self-examination and repentance.
It is a place full of Godly people wanting to help you take your relationship with God beyond your wildest dreams.
It is a place where despair and darkness are cast out and replaced by joy and hope given to us by the Holy Spirit.
It is a place of friendship and laughter; but, it is the place where that friendship asks for vulnerability and
through that vulnerability we find healing and unity.
Training camp is a time when we discover new gifts and dust off old ones.
There we find freedom and from there we take
our freedom with us.
It is a time to confess to one another and in that confession find
forgiveness and healing.
It is a place where life is spoken over you and its power is known.
It is a place to experience a diversity of emotion like you have never known.
Training camp is where you are so lost in God that you cease to notice the passing of time.
Training camp is where you realize that if you leave all of these things at training camp, you should gave just stayed home.
Training camp will rock your world!
