What a blessing today has been! The weather is perfect, I’m drinking amazing coffee… oh yeah and I almost forgot, our team was on the radio today!!
In Honduras we have a great friend that we have met named Sebastian. He is a pastor of a church in Tablon, Honduras, who also has a radio show from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturdays with an audience of over 200,000 listeners. Sebastian told us about it and invited us to come onto his radio show with him. We all immediately jumped onto the opportunity. He told us that we wanted to share anything that we each had about 15 minutes or so.
Nathan went 1st and he talked about being filled with the Holy Spirit, and the importance of that. Two of my teammates shared their testimony over the radio, I was able to play my guitar and worship over the radio, and a few others shared what Jesus has been teaching them lately.
The two hours went by way too fast, and we were finished before we knew it. The experience was absolutely amazing, and we were so grateful. Sebastian began telling us about the people who call in to his radio station and ask for prayer. He told us a few stories of the ways that Jesus is using his radio show to impact the community around him.
As an individual who has multiple family members in the TV/Radio business, it was such a cool experience to be on the radio as well. The cool thing is that I get to be the 1st one in my family not to be on the radio, but the 1st one to Glorify and represent Jesus over the radio. I am so thankful for that opportunity.
