What am I really excited about the World Race?
Is it that I get to travel to 11 different countries and go around the world? Is it that I get to meet a bunch of friends to travel with? Maybe its for the amazing pictures that will be taken or for all of the different types of food that I will get to try. Maybe it will be the people that I get to meet along the way.
is it going to be the stories I will have when I get back to tell others about all of the things that I have seen? Is it to broaden my view on the world and to give me a bigger picture?
While all of those things sound great, I hope that none of those are the main reason why I am going on the World Race. All of those things will add up to make a great trip and great memories but I must not make those objects the focus of my adventure around the world.
Lets Try This Again…. What am I really excited about the World Race?
I am excited to serve Jesus, I am excited about going to where the people are and loving them well and serving them. I want to tell people about Jesus who have never heard about him or even hate him. I want to go to where the people are, I want to live with, eat with, and work with the people where I am and showing them the Love of my God trough my actions, my attitude, and my words.
The very 1st things that I listed will add to the experience of my trip, but if those are the things that make my experience, then I am doing it for the wrong reason.
Any reason other than serving Jesus and his people is the wrong reason.
