What are my expectations while on the World Race? That is a great question.
I expect a couple of different things.
The 1st thing that I expect is to be forced out of my comfort zone, and to not just have to take God out of my box but i am expecting that God will destroy the walls of my box and show himself in ways that I could never imagine. I expect for God to do big things, answer prayers, heal the sick and hurt, and to rock my world. Something great that I have heard about the world race is that it makes you reconstruct in a way, they way that I see my God. I will no longer be surrounded by American society and American views and i will be forced to make decisions and thoughts on my own a little more than I usually would normally.
I expect to be exposed to a world outside of America as well. I am interested to see how the rest of world lives on a daily basis and make my perspective wider then what it is right now. I'm pumped to see diffierent cultures, experience different views, and to meet people that I would have in no other way meeting than going on the World Race.
In all, i expect to be changed, I expect to be exposed, I expect to build relationships, and I expect for my heart to break for the people that are placed around me that need to hear about Jesus.
