The night before we left Matamoros to race to VeraCruz there was a change in our team dynamics. Our wonderful sweet teammate Ali Mitchell felt God telling her not go. For the past 3 months Team Trinity had been praying and talking at least 1-2 times per week. During this time, Ali was getting mixed feelings about this trip and was waiting to hear from God on what to do. Her mind was telling her how fun this trip around the world would be but her heart was telling her to go to Sudan in Africa. So, the night before the race began God confirmed her call to go to Sudan. Team Trinity is so excited for her and we know this is where God has called her….her new home. We love her so much and we know she would have contributed greatly but her call is elsewhere. We know she will do mighy things in Sudan and God will use her to His honor. Go Ali!!!

Another change also took place the night before the first race. We had thought that Jonathan, a Mexcian from the local church in Matamoros, would be joining our team for this leg of the trip. However, we were told that Jonanthan would not be able to go due to his schooling, so Miguel was going to be joining our team. Miguel, however can not speak one word of English, so Sarah prayed that God would open her ears to understanding more Spanish because she was going to have to do a lot of translating. Miguel has truly been such a blessing on our team and our Spanish is improving drastically. We are very proud to have him on our team, he is a truly man of God! YEAY!
