The day started out great with breakfast and then prayer time (1 hour alone time with God). We then went into praise and worship which is probably my most favorite time of the day.
It was time to go into the field for our first day of ministry.
We met with Pastor Mario and his wife Marta at their church Yo Soy La Vida Verdadera (I AM THE TRUE VINE). They were so welcoming, hospitable and loving. It was a blessing to be able to see what a new church looks like that is being built from the ground up.
We then began to pray before we had left the church and I could feel the strength of the Holy Spirit in Mario, around him and amongst the building that we where in. Thank you Lord.
Along the way Mario told us a story about how his wife had been diagnosed with diabetes and that the doctor said that she would never be able to have children. They where very upset over this so they went to their church that they where currently at. They encountered a man that had seen a vision for their lives and then something powerful happen to them. The man had a vision that his wife would be receiving a child very soon. He prayed over Marta and declared that the diabetes had left her body.
Marta and Mario went to the hospital immediately where they had received the last bad news to get a new test done. The nurse came in and said something is different. Marta’s blood type when she came in before was A- and had come up positive for diabetes. The nurse was upset so she tried the test two more times and then came back to Marta and said that her blood type had completely changed to A+ and that there was no trace of the diabetes in her body.
Two weeks later she was pregnant with a baby girl on the way. Mario’s life was changed forever.
3 people accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts today on our ministry. Thank you Jesus.
