Hello Everyone!!!!
Thought I would post this now when I have good internet, in case Cambodia there might not be such good internet.
But I leave for Cambodia in like 4 days now, which it is all just crazy to me. Thailand I have fallen in love with. The people, the children atthe homes and the villages and even the land. There is something special about this place that has my heart in a knot and tears trying not to flood because I look around and I will miss these people.
The Lord taught me to push past the awkward and the comfort zone and just love these kids. Then I was blessed to talk with someone who grew up Thai and spoke really good English. We were talking about loving the kids because I want to love these kids but I was so confused about their shyness and lack of English.
My new friend explained that the thai kids are very self consious about how they speak English because they do not want to embarrass themselves, and he said just by sitting with them, even if it is no real communication going on, they feel loved with your presence there.
And my eyes were just opened and the rest of the time at this place was renewed, I saw these kids and I saw love and gems…they captured my heart even when no words were really said. And I am so excited to see what happens in the next few months as the Lord grows and challenges me…
And I need your help to continue to do so. At the moment I am $3762 from being fully funded and this FUND ME BOARD is to help show just how far I am from being fully funded, and maybe you could help with a donation here or there.
I know some people have chosen birth years, favorite numbers, or some nerdy math people do weird number things. But whatever number it is whether it is $1 or $89 makes a huge difference.
