So here we go FINALLY with part two of my #PursueGod#LOVEOTHERS#ServeTheWorld.

Loving others, is something that has been easy, hard, and sometimes even humbling. Sometimes we see people that need loving are those who are orphans, widowed, hurting, lost…

But what about those

  • Who have hurt you

    • Who make you feel so small

      • Who annoy you

        • Who have done things that human minds can not even fathom...

Yeah, we love ALL people, but sometimes talk is cheap compared to the reactions I see in others, and sadly even me.

Loving others sounds easy and one time someone called me a Hippie because I told them that loving others is a key part in the Christian faith, along with pursuing God.

It really is, loving others is dying to oneself, and loving God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. And Loving others as we love ourselves.

For me I will be honest, it is easy to love those who are unfortunate, or those who have lost something, or those who are depressed…

  • But those who have lied… I want to hold it over them in my heart though I will not show it out front

  • But those who have rejected me,….I want to reject them

  • But those who gossip about me… I want to gossip about them

  • But those who broken my heart…I want to hate them, though the outside they would never know

It is easy to love others that are in “need” of hope, tenderness, a hug, money, clothes…but what about those who do not know the truth, but gladly live selfishly in the world… or even the harder one sometimes of when the person that has hurt you is one who is your brother or sister in Christ…

That to me has been the hardest because I want justice, but I hear His gentle whisper… “Love them”.

Love them? LOVE THEM!

“Love because I first loved you!” And then my heart takes a step back…

He loves us even though we are wretched people, HE LOVES US. And we love others not because of moral obligation of a good Christian person, but because loving them humbles your heart and your Spirit in a way that honestly my words can not explain.

But I can say that when you truly love others as yourself your heart because soften to their cries they are desperately yelling. Your Spirit begins to discern why they act the way they do. Because just like you they are broken and sinful and NEED Christ.

I pray you are encouraged by this and please message me if you have any questions or thoughts 🙂

Love you all and thank you for reading!

Stephie
