When my squad first started traveling I had a really really bad attitude about everything.

My bag was super heavy,(even though I got rid if a some stuff before we left)

I had to sit in the middle seat on the plane, (both flights),

My back hurt, My feet hurt, I was hot, and Blue Jeans (as much as I love them) are not the most comfortable to travel in

I didn't like any of the food I was eating.
- And when we finally got to China the people got on my nerves from being shoved and push out of there way?
Four day of travel and lack of sleep can bring a bad attitude on most people, but that no excuse for feeling the things I was feeling. The day we got into Harbin, China we got our rooms and finally got rid of lugging around those huge heavy packs. (Which by the way my back hurt cause I needed to readjust. Everything is fine now) The host brought me and the rest of the squad to this restaurant where I didn't want to eat but I needed to because I hadn't eaten very well for the past couple days. One of our host John was telling Zach and Hailey about an opportunity to talk to some English speaking Chinese college students and It sounded good and I wanted to go. So I asked one of the girl in my room to come and wake me up, but she didn't have a way to get into the room because I had the only key. We got in Harbin at 8:30 am and I sleep from about 12:00 to 8:00 that evening. Then sleep some more after our squad meeting from about 10 to 3.
When I woke up at 3 I couldn't get back to sleep and decided to read the bible. While I was reading I learned a few things about myself and the character of God. He told me that I was being extremely selfish and mean. That's the exact opposite of what I am created for and exact opposite of the reason I came.
I wasn't being very loving I wasn't producing the fruits of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. There is no law against these things.
I wasn't producing any of these things God also reminded me that the people of China are he's special creation as well and that I have a lot to learn about him and his people and why God loves them so dearly.
That day was a lot better with my attitude and I was starting to see that yeah they push you out of the way and there streets are insanely busy compared to what I'm used to, but God made these people for a specific purpose and most of them love American. We are free to talk about Christ because they aren't strict as I thought. And it's really funny trying to communicate with people who have no clue what you are saying. These people are a beautiful creation and the more I'm here the more I fall in love with everything God sent me to experience.
Hosea 2:19-20 I will make you my wife forever, showing you righteousness and justice, unfailing love and compassion. I will be faithful to you and make you mine, and you will finally know me as the Lord.
This verse is for all God's creation. Even for the people we don't think deserve it. God created them and they are make for a reason.
