This is gonna sound a bit strange, but I'm gonna talk about Zombies for a minute (with a twist).
We all start off as zombies. I know it's weird just follow it for a minute. I'll explain. There we are just walking along with this hunger for something more. When all of a sudden we see someone who is alive.
You know that one person everyone wants to be around, because they have something we don't? but in this instance, instead of zombies infecting us, that person infects us(as zombies) with this so called "LIFE" and for the first time the clouds are lifted and you see the light.
OK….. So maybe reserving the zombie apocalypse is a bit of a stretch, but maybe I'm on to something. Maybe I have a point to my ramblings? We were once dead, but now through Jesus we are alive.
Think about it. Before Christ we all were just roaming around in agony, because we just didn't feel like life was really worth living. Then Jesus, that one person who has that something that even makes being homeless look cool.
You think to yourself whatever that is I want it. So you take that leap of faith and fall head first into something that you have no idea what you are getting yourself into. When all of a sudden everything makes sense and you have never felt so alive and loved.
But so many times people who say they are "infected" are still walking around like Zombies. Sure it's inevitable you will be around "zombies."
Are you gonna fall in line with the rest of the zombies or are you gonna be the one "infecting zombies" with God's love story?
Are you gonna live in a way that infects the people around you?
For a very long time I thought if I lived a good life people would just know.
In order to infect people you gotta take that plunge and give into that same infection.
I know, I know talking about God's love like it's an infection is strange.
I'd rather be infected by God's love than zombified by my addiction to sin. I'm not saying that sin goes away I'm saying God's love has gotta be so infectious that it changes you, tranforms you into something completely different. Like a Zombie Reserve Apocalypse!!!
So are you gonna be infected or stay zombified?
