The first time I wrote my bio it was full of my accomplishments, activities and skills that I had.  For a long time that was who I was, defined by what I did.  By God’s grace this is no longer the case.

I went on the race in Oct 2008, and during the 11 month trip I was completely stripped of who I thought I was.  One of the ways I describe the experience is as if I was a huge walk-in closet full of clothes. When God met me on the race, He pulled out everything. Every shirt, every shoe, every dress.  When He had finished and I looked in, all I saw was a sea of hangers in a vast cavern of empty.  Then God told me to go through the pile of clothes, and figure out what needs to go back in.  On the backside of the race I have put back two shirts: one with the word love and the other with the word grace.  That is who I am, that is all I know anymore.
