Long time no Blog…

It might have been a long time since my previous blog, but do understand… In the meantime I have been halfway around the world!!

Some of you following the world race might be thinking that we are in the adventure of a life time!! Make no mistake about it… it has been on adventure after the other!! Experiencing every kind of challenge and excitement humanly possible, I wish all of you reading could share in this life changing experience.

Still it has to be said: There has never been a harder or tougher road to walk than the one I am walking
right now. Spiritually I am starting to learn what the scripture really means when you read… “I am the potter and you are the clay…”

I have learnt that the love for pleasing people and my love for pleasing God cannot stand on the same two legs and that God asks of us a whole hearted surrender of our lives. With the only desire to please Him and Him alone. That to me means a real shake-up in my priorities and a total new look at decisions I normaly would`ve made without even thinking.

It is a great privilige being here and I am greatful for this opportunity!! I am enjoying every moment and as a very well known singer sings:
This is the great adventure… a life like no other!!

The 36hour train ride here was an adventure of its own and we really got to know each other very well!!

My first hot meal in a few days really went very well… well maybe it would` ve gone even better if I had a knife and fork…

Two of my first friends… Actually they just couldn`t stop laughing at my chopstick “tricks”… thats what friends are for.

The area we are in currently has a huge spiritual stronghold… Their are more than a thousand mosks nearby…

Just a quick hallo to all my friends… Please keep the South African Flag flying high!!

Groete aan my thommas!! Darrell, Coena, Mielie, Henk, Jubee, kinders en personeel by DP en al my familie by die huis!! `n Spesiale hallo aan my ouers en ook al my liefde!!

Verlang julle almaal!!
