So whats new here lets see… not much so thats why i havent really been blogging.
By now i am trying to close up shop like i am sure most everyone is saying bye to friends and family pets and
beautiful wonderful steam showers with rainfall shower heads.
I am just cooling down in new york and enjoying the sights until i have to jump ship and whilst i was running around the
streets the other day i started thinking about living without pretty much everything i do now.
my friends when they hear about the trip are like ” um shiloh you know thats like roughing it can you do that?”
ok are you kidding me?! i am made for roughing it just cause i can throw together a pretty sweet outfit and look kinda nice and put together
doesnt mean i cant rough it! Its like try dancing in 5 inch heels for three hours straight! haha.
this all brings me back to the last time i went camping and it was in yosemite with my three roommates.
I remember after eating and setting up the campsite and everything my roommate jocelyn turns to me and goes “so what do we do now its only like 8”
and my other roommate whitney and i reply “well you stare at the fire for another three hours then you go to bed”.
Jocelyn: “seriously?”
haha i miss people from l.a.
there was also a point during this trip where we were calling one of our “nature” friends on our cell phones from our tent asking if bears could rip open tops of cars to get food because there was a special on t.v. about it. and whitney was also wondering if leaving the left over hot dogs and a whole rhubarb pie right outside our tent was a bad idea.
so we didnt die even though by the time we tried the throw away all the food the trash cans were all like shackled shut with huge chains!
moral of the story if i can appreciate staring into a fire for three hours and even be excited about it and also be smart enough not to leave food right in front of the tent i can DO IT!!! I CAN TOTALLY ROUGH IT!
like the book the outsiders i am so TUFF thats right T-U-F-F!
ok so now if any of you guys are not scared of me after this blog lets be friends and go camping!
