Yesterday we left Comalteco. It was hard saying goodbye to the family we stayed with. Librada, the 100 year old lady, wanted us to come by before we left so that she could bless us. Each of us knelt down before her and she put her hands on our head and prayed that God bless us the rest of the journey and throughout life. It was a very special time for our team!
Right now we are on our way down to Palenque. Last night we stopped in Acayucan and spent the night at a hotel. It was nice to have a real shower and not a bucket one! Soon we will be leaving to head to Tabasco for the night and then down to Palenque the next day. Praise God for no van trouble on the road yesterday! On our journey, I´ve discovered that there are more speed bumps in Mexico than I have ever seen in my life.
